The Payroll Analyst will do this by preparing reconciliations, doing reviews, completing audits and compiling information.
Responsibilities:
- Review payrolls and off-cycle payments.
- Analyze payroll data, track metrics and suggest improvements.
- Solve daily processing issues by analyzing root causes and validating data.
- Address incoming cases to meet Service Level Agreement compliance, document resolutions and escalate complex issues.
- Document workflows, improve procedures and participate in system upgrades.
- Compile data and generate reports.
- Conduct thorough research and respond quickly to inquiries.
- File statutory filings not covered by 3rd party vendors and respond to agency notices.
Skills and qualifications:
- Associate degree in related field.
- Two plus years of payroll experience.
- Fundamental Payroll Certification or Certified Payroll Professional desired.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to analyze various courses of action and make recommendations.
- Able to manage multiple priorities at once.
