Job Title Associate Mental Health Therapist (LMSW, AMFT, or APC)
Compensation: 60% of net collections (cash pay practice); paid biweekly – Estimated annual earning potential of $80,000 - $90,000
Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Schedule: Flexible weekday schedule that need late afternoons and early evenings to see children
Location: This is an in person role based out of Peachtree City, GA
Role Summary
The Associate Mental Health Therapist provides outpatient therapy services to children, adolescents, adults and/or families under clinical supervision while working toward full licensure. Success in this role includes delivering high-quality care, building a consistent caseload, and meeting all supervision and documentation requirements in accordance with state licensure regulations.
Associate Therapist Responsibilities
- Active, unrestricted license as a LMSW, AMFT, or APC in GA
- Conduct assessments of bio-psycho-social needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual, family, and/or couples outpatient psychotherapy services using evidence-based modalities
- Actively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goals
- Complete timely and compliant clinical documentation
- Maintain an active caseload of a minimum of 15 clients per week within a minimum of 20 hours of availability
- Preferred candidates will have multiple days of late afternoon/early evening availability
- Adhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policies
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: 60% of net collections (cash pay practice); paid biweekly – Estimated annual earning potential of $80,000-$90,000
- Billing, credentialing, scheduling, and intake support
Associate Therapist Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted license as a LMSW, AMFT, or APC in GA
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
- Strong background in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT)
- Ability to work under clinical supervision toward full licensure
- Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms
- Experience conducting psychotherapy with specific populations (children, adolescents, trauma, couples, etc.
- Experience in outpatient or group practice settings
- Preferred candidates will be able to see children, adolescents, and adults
