JOB DESCRIPTION

Rare, full-time opening in our parts department for an experienced parts counter position. Primary job

functions include but are not limited to; retail and technician counter operations, fielding retail and

wholesale calls, preparing online body order quotes, assisting in all phases of stock related functions.

• Prior experience in an automotive parts related position required, dealership experience preferred, Honda or Acura a plus .
• Experience in an automotive related parts position outside of a dealership setting will be considered with the right experience and enthusiasm to learn.
• Marin Acura’s ideal Parts Counterperson will have strong familiarity with all things automotive, will bring a high level of customer care to the job every day. Requirements include:

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

-Ability to thrive and have fun in a busy, fast-paced retail environment.

-Minimum 18 years of age.

-Valid driver license, reliable transportation.

-Capable of lifting and moving items of up to 45 pounds.

-Pass a background & drug screen.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, licenses and registrations required: Valid Driver’s License.

Computer skills required: Reynolds and Reynolds DMS; Google Workspace Software (GMAIL, Sheets, Drive, Docs, Meet)

Other skills required:

Knowledge of office software.
