We are seeking an ambitious, polished, and career-driven Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team at 34 Park Restaurant. This role is designed for a hands-on leader who can confidently run the restaurant floor, inspire and hold a team accountable, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and maintain the operational and service standards that define our brand.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Culture
• Lead daily front-of-house operations and oversee service execution on every shift
• Promote and protect the company culture through professionalism, integrity, and accountability
• Coach, motivate, and develop team members to meet and exceed expectations
• Hold front and back-of-house staff accountable for standards, procedures, and performance
• Lead by example with a hands-on, “all-in” attitude during service
• Build trust and strong working relationships with staff and guests alike
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding front-of-house team members
• Train and develop team members on service standards, policies, and operational procedures
• Support ongoing education and development of future leaders within the team

Guest Experience
• Deliver exceptional hospitality and uphold service standards at all times, whether in person, via email, or over the phone
• Interact with guests confidently and professionally, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the restaurant’s commitment to excellence
• Resolve guest concerns and conflicts promptly, professionally, and with genuine hospitality
• Create memorable dining experiences that build guest loyalty and repeat business
• Encourage guest engagement and, when appropriate, professionally invite satisfied guests to share positive feedback and online reviews
• Read and manage reservations strategically to maximize seating efficiency and service flow
• Follow up with guests via phone calls and email when necessary to enhance the guest experience and strengthen relationships
• Assist with large reservations, private dining inquiries, and special events
• Support promotional initiatives, special events, and marketing efforts to drive sales and guest engagement

Operations Management
• Run the restaurant floor and maintain smooth, efficient service
• Monitor restaurant cleanliness, appearance, and overall ambiance
• Ensure compliance with all health, sanitation, safety, and operational standards
• Maintain compliance with Health Department, Fire Department, and Liquor License requirements
• Follow and enforce company policies, systems, and protocols
• Assist with opening, closing, and cash-handling procedures
• Oversee gift card management, balancing, and reconciliation
• Assist with inventory controls, ordering, and vendor communication
• Monitor and track key performance indicators, including sales, labor, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency

Staffing & Scheduling
• Create and manage front-of-house schedules based on projected sales, labor targets, and business levels
• Monitor labor performance and adjust staffing levels in real time to meet financial goals
• Manage shift coverage and staffing adjustments in real time
• Support performance reviews, coaching conversations, and disciplinary action when needed

Administrative & Financial Responsibilities
• Review daily sales reports, labor reports, and operational data
• Understand and manage POS systems and reporting
• Complete nightly management reports and recap emails
• Support inventory management and ordering processes
• Assist with monitoring labor, costs, and overall profitability
• Identify opportunities to increase sales through upselling, guest retention, and service initiatives
• Knowledge of inventory systems and beverage management is a plus

Technology & Systems
• Experience and working knowledge of POS systems, preferably Toast
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong knowledge of Outlook and professional email communication
• Familiarity with inventory and beverage management systems
• Experience with gift card management and reconciliation platforms

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years of restaurant management or hospitality leadership experience
• Strong floor presence and the ability to command a room respectfully
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Professional appearance and polished presentation
• Confidence in managing staff performance and accountability
• Strong guest service instincts and hospitality mindset
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
• Desire to grow within the company and build a long-term career
