Process Operator at Hycroft Resources & Development LLC – Winnemucca, Nevada

Job Description

The Process Operator is responsible for maintaining the leach pads and processing facilities. Manage all systems following the standard operating procedures, “SOPs”. Complete all necessary safety and environmental inspections daily. Assist in all process related areas when required.

Responsibilities

• Follow Hycroft safety, environmental, and department standards including
• documentation in all process areas.
• Operate circuits including process equipment, pumps, and leak detection systems.
• Fuse pipe with McElroy fusion machines.
• Maintain leach pads and evaporation systems, valves, and emitters.
• Assist process maintenance as business needs require.
• Regularly confer with personnel in process maintenance, mine operations, and other
• necessary groups to ensure good communication and feedback, allowing the fulfillment
• of targets in a safe and socially responsible manner.
• Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform daily workplace inspections encompassing the process plants and leach pad areas.

Requirements

• A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of process experience in the mining industry is preferred.
• Demonstrate the ability to execute and hold self-accountable for work.
• Frequent tasks requiring standing for a 12-hour period are essential.
• Equipment experience e.g., IT28 loader, 5,000lb forklift, man lift, scissor lift, D6 dozer, and telehandler is preferred.
• Working effectively with others safely with an excellent attendance record is required.
• Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative
• solutions and approach problems as a team.
• Must possess adequate communication skills, as well as interpersonal, problem-solving, and basic math skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and being thorough in completing work tasks.
• Heap leach and Merrill Crowe experience with progressively increasing responsibilities preferred.
• The position requires a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work rotating shift work.
