This role sits at the intersection of finance, project delivery, and business operations within a fast-paced life sciences environment. You will play a key part in ensuring financial accuracy across projects, supporting revenue recognition, forecasting, and budget analysis for complex contracts. The environment is highly collaborative, detail-driven, and deadline-oriented, requiring strong analytical thinking and coordination across multiple stakeholders. This position offers exposure to large-scale clinical and commercial programs, where financial integrity directly supports healthcare innovation. It is an ideal opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys combining technical accounting work with cross-functional business engagement.

Accountabilities:
  • Support monthly revenue recognition activities for unit, fee-for-service, and fixed-price contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
  • Load and maintain project budgets, key data, and financial structures in Oracle and related systems while ensuring data integrity across platforms.
  • Prepare variance analyses, forecasting reports, backlog updates, and financial summaries to support monthly performance reviews.
  • Assist in project setup, contract review, and reconciliation processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial close activities.
  • Collaborate with finance leadership to produce budgeting, forecasting, and gross profit reporting for assigned business areas.
  • Participate in project meetings to capture financial inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment between project status and financial reporting.
  • Monitor financial health indicators including revenue, margins, receivables, and project closeouts to support proactive issue resolution.
Requirements:
  • 0–2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related business finance role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial reporting tools and accounting systems such as Oracle Finance.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and revenue tracking processes.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle confidential financial data with professionalism and discretion.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or CRO environments is a plus.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of $56,400 – $95,900 annually (based on experience and qualifications).
  • Eligibility for performance-based bonuses and incentive programs.
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Flexible paid time off and sick leave policies.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan eligibility.
  • Hybrid perks such as wellness programs, professional development support, and work-life balance initiatives.
