About This Position
Job Summary/Objective:
The Vice President - Texas will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the clinics, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization. In addition, they will be actively involved with acquisitions in Texas working closely with the Elevate development team.
Essential Job Functions
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operational projects and systems.
- Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Engages with the Elevate development team to research, acquire and develop additional add-ons in the Texas market
- Evaluates performance of the organization in meeting objectives and determines where costs can be reduced, what can be improved and what should be changed.
- Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization’s operations division.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
- Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans are in line with the organizations business plan and vision.
- Coordinates, participates in, oversees and documents clinics new employee training, ongoing staff training, and competency assessment and provides other educational opportunities for its staff.
- Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief executive officer and other leadership.
- Sets staff performance goals and monitors progress.
- Performs regular audits and reviews findings with clinical staff.
- Delegates the necessary authority and control or resources for employees to accomplish the objectives for which they are held accountable.
- Organizes the relationship between different functions within the departments so that resources are used efficiently.
- Ensures all areas of responsibility are operating in compliance with the policies of Elevate and regulatory agencies.
- Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
- Establishes appropriate internal processes and other standard work tools to ensure effective and efficient operations.
- Partners with executive physician leadership, ensuring that the patient experience and day-to-day needs of the centers are handled efficiently
- Assures engagement, satisfaction, and alignment of employees, physicians, and executives for an effective implementation of strategic and operational plans.
- Works in close collaboration with recruiting/HR to fulfill needs for short, mid and long-term success and market development
- Creates an environment that promotes effective communication and responsiveness to customer needs (both external and internal).
- Monitors the work environment for safety violations or concerns.
- Participates in community and industry organizations to foster professional development and effective community relations for the organization.
- Contributes to the success of the organization, keeping current on new developments within healthcare and by performing other duties as needed or assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility
This role supervises 10+ employees.

Travel
Travel to physician office locations is expected for this position. Travel within the state of Texas will be necessary when considering acquisition targets.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other industry-related field required; MBA preferred.
- Ten years of healthcare experience including three years in upper management required.
