What You’ll DoPayroll Processing & Administration- Process bi-weekly payroll for multi-site employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Review and validate timesheets, PTO, bonuses, and adjustments prior to payroll submission.
- Ensure proper calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions in compliance with federal and state laws.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Manage payroll tax filings, wage garnishments, and deductions.
- Prepare and distribute W-2s and other required payroll reports.
- Assist with audits and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
- Serve as a point of contact for payroll-related questions and issues.
- Resolve discrepancies and provide timely support to employees and managers.
- Educate employees on payroll policies, deductions, and timekeeping processes.
- Maintain and update employee payroll data in HRIS/payroll systems.
- Partner with HR and Finance to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiency.
- Monitor timekeeping systems for accuracy and compliance.
- Work closely with managers to ensure timely submission and approval of hours.
- Track and manage PTO accruals and usage.
- 2–4 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with payroll systems/HRIS (e.g., ADP, Paychex, UKG, or similar).
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in healthcare or high-volume workforce environments.
- Familiarity with multi-state payroll processing.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification is a plus.
