Position Summary
North Star Scientific Corporation (NSS) is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Production Planner/Buyer to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in coordinating production workflows, ensuring material availability, and driving on-time delivery of high-quality products in support of customer and contract requirements.

QualificationsRequired:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum one (1) year of experience in production planning, purchasing, or manufacturing support Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication and ability to work cross-functionally Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelPreferred
Associate’s degree in supply chain, Business, or related field Experience in an electronics or engineering manufacturing environment Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint)Abilities, Knowledge, and Skills
Physical and/or Medical Demands
This position regularly requires standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and use of hands to operate equipment. The employee must be able to view computer screens and inspect small electronic components. Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds may be required.
