Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
As a Property Accountant III, you will take ownership of all aspects of general ledger analysis and play a foundational role in budget preparation. You will ensure the financial integrity of our housing portfolio by performing high-level variance analysis, managing month-end accruals, and collaborating closely with the Housing Finance Manager to oversee critical fund transfers.

You will be responsible for the accuracy and transparency of the general ledger, transforming raw financial data into actionable insights for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Mastery: Record all month-end accruals and general journal entries; identify and reclassify miscoded transactions to ensure reporting accuracy.
Variance Analysis: Provide a detailed monthly analysis of budget-to-actual variances for all revenue and expense accounts.
Reconciliation & Oversight: Perform rigorous general ledger reconciliation and account analysis; prepare daily cash reports to maintain liquidity oversight.
Housing Finance Operations: Partner with the Housing Finance Manager to execute timely transfers for mortgages, excess income, replacement reserves, and service coordinator funds.
Reporting & Budgeting: Lead the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages and provide essential support during the annual budget preparation cycle.
Special Projects: Spearhead special financial projects and assist the Housing Finance Manager with specialized reporting as required.
Education: BS in Accounting or a related financial field.
Experience: At least two years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in property management or nonprofit sectors.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Gmail. Real Page accounting experience is strongly preferred.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet strict monthly deadlines.
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and strong professional communication (written and oral).
