JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Warehouse Technician

Department: Warehouse

FLSA: Hourly / Non-Exempt

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Technician supports the Warehouse Manager by efficiently completing orders for delivery or pickup, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Products handled include warehouse racking, cantilever systems, pallet support, post protectors, end of aisle protectors, rivet rack, row spacers and bollards.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• None.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dlievery or pickup.
• Handle and organize materials in warehouse and yard.
• Ensure all orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse/yard environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in materials handling industry (pallet racking, forklifts, etc.) is preferred.
• Familiarity with modern warehouse practices and methods.
• Skilled in using hand tools.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Strong attention to detail andorganizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition, able to lift and move heavy items.
• Willing to work in all types of weather conditions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift heavy parts and tools, and work in various environmental conditions.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds at a time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Full-time position.
• Indoors and outdoors.
• Warehouse and yard work.
