The Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth strategy through strategic acquisitions and partnerships. There will be opportunities to work on various M&A transactions and deal structures including acquisitions, de novos, joint ventures and various strategic initiatives. This position reports to the Vice President of M&A and will be responsible for helping the end-to-end M&A process, from identifying potential targets to executing transactions and working with cross-functional teams to integrate the acquired businesses into the company.

The Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth strategy through strategic acquisitions and partnerships. There will be opportunities to work on various M&A transactions and deal structures including acquisitions, de novos, joint ventures and various strategic initiatives. This position reports to the Vice President of M&A and will be responsible for helping the end-to-end M&A process, from identifying potential targets to executing transactions and working with cross-functional teams to integrate the acquired businesses into the company.

Here is what you will need:
- Bachelor's degree with strong record of academic success.
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity or corporate development
- Experience / background in the healthcare industry preferred but not required
- Exceptional MS Excel, database, and PowerPoint skills.
- Familiarity with financial statement analysis and valuation techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to create PowerPoint materials for pitches and management presentations.
- Excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
- Able to define, collect and document complex business and technical requirements.
- Analytical skill to quickly understand and contribute to strategic initiatives.
- Comfortable in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment, strong attention to detail.
- Highly adaptable.
A Day in the Life of a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst:
- Provide services and support for the following areas:
- Perform valuation analysis and financial modeling for prospective and live transactions
- Support financial and operational due diligence analysis of target companies and identify and resolve key deal issues
- Support deal team and other leaders in developing and presenting executive-level memoranda, presentations, and detailed financial analysis to share with senior leadership
- Support strategy formation and analysis
- Support denovo planning and analysis
- Prepare ad hoc analyses to evaluate growth opportunities and support key corporate initiatives
- Work directly with target company representatives to gather data and support due diligence
- Work with cross functional teams to collect and analyze information and communicate key findings
- Support ad hoc projects (e.g., analysis of prospect pipeline, tracking of prior investments, etc.) and other administrative tasks
