Job Description
The Make Ready Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that residential properties are prepared for new tenants. This position involves a variety of tasks that require mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be proactive in maintaining the property’s standards and ensuring a smooth transition for incoming residents.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of residential units to identify necessary repairs and maintenance.
Perform basic repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks as needed.
Execute residential painting and touch-ups to enhance the aesthetic appeal of units.
Utilize schematics and an ohmmeter for troubleshooting electrical issues.
Maintain accurate records of work completed using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Emergency on calls
Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns and requests promptly.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed while performing maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
Strong maintenance knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs.
Experience with residential painting techniques is preferred

Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising team members.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
HVAC/EPA and CPO certifications
This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess strong problem-solving abilities, and have a passion for maintaining high standards in residential properties.
