DESCRIPTION The Assistant Manager is responsible for directing an efficient workflow and assisting the Store Manager in hiring, training, sales and operations. This position serves as a role model of barista responsibilities and serves as the team leader when the Store Manager is unavailable.
We are looking for a candidate to develop and cross train in every aspect of:
Leadership - The ability to positively lead and develop a team while following all franchise regulations.
Customer Service - The ability to build sales and develop loyal relationships with customers by providing outstanding products and amazing service in a fast, friendly, efficient manner.
Administrative - The ability to efficiently staff and stock a store while meeting all deadlines and operating within payroll and inventory budgets.
Organizational - The ability to maintain a clean, organized work environment both inside and outside the store.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure consistent and quality customer experience by executing brand beverage recipes and techniques, resolving customer relations issues, and leading the team in delivering the Scooter’s “Amazing” customer service experience
Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs, and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rush
Assist the Store Manager in training and developing team members
Develop effective working relationships with team members, identifying individual motivation factors and providing clear, constructive feedback to reinforce/improve performance
Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales
Understand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and operational procedures in an accurate, consistent manner
Ensure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Serve as a keyholder, following all opening and closing procedures.
Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptability
Assist Store Manager with administrative duties as requested

Compensation is dependent on experience. In order to ensure the position is the correct fit for an applicant, a 30-60 day probation period will be in effect.
