Pay Range: $121,749.00 - $171,970.00 per year

Pay Transparency:

The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Role Description

  • Responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, executive control and completion of projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization.
  • Manage multiple projects as assigned by the AVP or Director, PMO.
  • Projects will be complex engagements that support clinical, financial, and technical areas.
  • Lead all projects according to RWJBH PMO methodologies and standards and deliver on-time, on-budget, and within scope.
  • Create and maintain well-written, organized project documentation.
  • Maintain effective communication with project team, stakeholders, supervisor, and Executive Management to ensure all levels are appropriately informed of project progress and issues.
  • Maintain a level of leadership and mentorship on projects to garner respect and confidence from project team and stakeholders and encourage teamwork.
  • Work independently, with limited supervision and with quantifiable and qualitative results.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of complex environments and scenarios and the impact between them at a system and operational level.
  • Maintain a level of understanding of RWJBH Enterprise goals and IT goals and how they both are supported and impacted by portfolio of projects.

Education:

  • Preferred: Bachelor s Degree
  • Minimum: Associate s Degree with five or more years of related experience

Work Experience:

  • Preferred: 5+ years of project management experience with large scale projects; 3+ years of Information Technology & Services or Healthcare consulting or equivalent experience. Experience working with EPIC also preferred.
  • Minimum: Five (5) year relevant experience in project management
  • Experience in MS Office Suite, Project Management Information System/Project Planning tool

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Preferred: PMP Certification or working towards certification,
  • Active Member of PMI or similar organization

  • Problem solving seeking, logically examining, and interpreting information from different sources to determine a problem's cause and developing a course of action to resolve the problem and to prevent its recurrence
  • Resilience: the ability to persevere in difficult situations, overcome obstacles, and reach high levels of performance when faced with stressful work situations and time pressures
