Position Summary |
Provides support to the logistics areas of the Supply Chain Services department in a hybrid fashion by performing a variety of duties including but not limited to, and in no particular order, mail room various functions, distribution tech activities, receiving assistance, and support of the OR Supply Tech position. Daily tasks will be assigned as needed in a collaborative manor between the Assistant Director, SC and Distribution Supervisor, with input from department leadership.

Primary Position Responsibilities |

- Assists the Lead Logistics with sorting and distributing incoming mail, processing outgoing mail as
needed, and supporting the management and coordination of fleet vehicles. - Provides for the proper and safe movement of supplies and equipment and ensures accurate inventory levels of medical supplies to inventory locations.
- Generates requisition pick tickets using Supply Chain technology (handheld/computer) and accurately
pulls and counts storeroom inventory to replenish supply locations throughout the hospital facility. - Verifies expiration dates of all inventories and removes outdated supplies from PAR areas and carts, as
assigned - Receives incoming supplies into the Supply Chain Information system upon delivery at the hospital
loading dock in accordance with the hospital and departmental policies. - Floats and cross-trains across all Central Supply roles to ensure operational efficiency and coverage.

Demonstrated steady work experience in high volume, high stress environment. Strong
customer service skills and strong problem solving skills. Prior courier experience, detail oriented, good sense of direction and time and task flexibility working under limited supervision.
