Sanitation Worker in Collingdale, Pennsylvania at Borough of Collingdale

Position Overview:
The Sanitation Worker is responsible for performing essential waste collection and disposal duties to maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the Borough. This position works a 40-hour schedule, Monday through Friday, with overtime available as needed.

Requirements:
Must successfully pass initial and random drug testing throughout employment.
Must complete a criminal background check prior to or during employment.
Must have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. on a regular basis.

Work Environment:
This is a physically demanding, outdoor position requiring the ability to work in various weather conditions while ensuring the safety and sanitation needs of the Borough are met.
