Copeland Automotive is a growing auto body shop seeking a mechanic to join their talented team of auto mechanics and service technicians. The ideal candidate should be comfortable assessing vehicle components ranging from electronic systems to air conditioning units. Maintenance work experience, manual dexterity, and communication skills are required.

Compensation & Bonus
- $60,000 – $70,000/year
- Weekly production bonus (on top of base pay)

Responsibilities:
- Preparing estimates, timelines, and other necessary documents for auto repairs
- Team up with managers and other mechanics to diagnose and service cars coming in for auto repairs
- Pursue continued education opportunities to grow technical skills
- Inspect, test drive, and perform diagnostic tests to determine vehicle problems, parts needed for repairs, and necessary work
- Identify and address mechanical problems and malfunction codes found in the vehicle's electrical system, mechanical systems, and electronic systems
Qualifications:
- Excellent work ethic, listening, problem-solving, and communication skills are desired
- A valid driver’s license is necessary
- Associate’s degree from a vocational program, technical school, or community college is preferred - ASE certification is a big bonus
- Strong manual dexterity and proficiency with hand tools and other repair shop equipment is necessary
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
