Requirements:

Perform dental hygiene procedures, including periodontal therapies, prophy's, taking x-rays, and applying fluoride treatmentsEducate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide recommendations for at-home careAssist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile and organized work environmentDocument patient treatment plans, progress notes, and medical history in dental softwareCollaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and provide excellent patient care

Requirements:

Valid Illinois Dental Hygiene LicenseGraduation from an accredited dental hygiene programProficiency in using dental software systems such as DentrixExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
