You will be responsible for developing and managing a strong pipeline of host employers across diverse industries, ensuring meaningful placement opportunities for early-career global talent. You will act as a key connector between employers and program participants, ensuring alignment between business needs and program objectives. Accountabilities

In this role, you will lead employer partnership development, sales execution, and ongoing account management to support international internship and exchange programs.

  • Develop and execute a US-focused employer acquisition strategy to secure internship placements and expand partnership networks
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of employer relationships, engaging decision-makers and key stakeholders across industries
  • Design and implement sales strategies, tools, and processes to meet ambitious partnership and placement goals
  • Leverage CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to track pipeline activity, optimize outreach, and maintain accountability
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop sales materials, positioning, and outreach strategies for employer engagement
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and industry opportunities to refine outreach and growth strategies
  • Manage onboarding and ongoing relationships with employer partners to ensure satisfaction and long-term engagement
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for host employers, ensuring compliance with program requirements and smooth placement execution
  • Advocate for employer needs while aligning expectations with program standards and participant outcomes
Requirements

This position requires strong sales expertise, relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage complex partnerships in a mission-driven environment.

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proven ability to build relationships and successfully close partnership or sales opportunities
  • Strong experience managing client or employer accounts with a focus on retention and growth
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce and structured sales processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, adaptable to diverse audiences
  • Strong organizational and administrative abilities with attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in complex, ambiguous, and fast-changing environments
  • Experience engaging with or managing relationships across diverse sectors is highly valued
