In this role, you will lead the global clinical strategy and evidence-generation ecosystem supporting advanced medical technologies across hardware, software, AI, and clinical services. The position offers broad influence across clinical research, real-world evidence, AI-enabled medical devices, and product development initiatives. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to build scientifically rigorous, scalable, and commercially impactful clinical programs. - Define and lead the overarching global clinical strategy for existing and emerging products across diagnostics, software, AI, and digital health services.
- Architect and oversee enterprise-wide evidence-generation strategies that support regulatory approvals, reimbursement, clinical adoption, and competitive differentiation.
- Lead pivotal FDA and international clinical studies, including premarket, post-market, real-world evidence, and comparative effectiveness research programs.
- Partner with Product Management, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, and Health Economics teams to align clinical pathways with product and commercialization strategies.
- Drive the development and validation of clinical use cases for innovative technologies, including AI-powered medical software and digital health solutions.
- Oversee multidisciplinary teams spanning Clinical Development, Science, Biostatistics, Data Management, Data Engineering, and Clinical Research Operations.
- Establish scalable processes and infrastructure for evidence generation, data analysis, clinical insights, and research dissemination.
- Lead strategic external collaborations with academic institutions, investigators, regulatory agencies, and industry stakeholders.
- Support payer engagement, guideline inclusion strategies, and health economics initiatives through robust clinical and outcomes evidence.
- Represent the organization as a scientific and clinical leader through publications, conferences, regulatory interactions, and strategic partnerships.
- Foster a culture centered on scientific rigor, innovation, collaboration, operational excellence, and accountability.
- M.D. or equivalent advanced medical degree required.
- Additional advanced research degree (M.S., Ph.D., or equivalent) in clinical research, epidemiology, biostatistics, AI, or related fields is highly desirable.
- 12+ years of leadership experience in clinical research, scientific strategy, or medical affairs within healthcare, medical device, diagnostics, or biotech/pharma environments.
- Proven experience leading pivotal FDA studies and global regulatory clinical programs from design through approval.
- Deep expertise in cardiology, cardiac arrhythmias, cardiovascular diagnostics, or related clinical specialties.
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial methodology, biostatistics, evidence generation, and regulatory standards for medical devices and AI-enabled healthcare products.
- Experience translating clinical evidence into regulatory approvals, reimbursement strategies, market access, and commercial adoption.
- Familiarity with real-world evidence generation, comparative effectiveness research, and health outcomes strategies.
- Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams and scaling scientific or clinical organizations in growth-stage or enterprise environments.
- Excellent executive communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership and board levels.
- Strong strategic thinking, innovation mindset, and operational leadership capabilities in highly regulated healthcare environments.
- Competitive executive compensation package with an estimated annual salary range of USD $266,000 to $346,000.
