About Stride Dental Group -

Stride Dental Group is a fast-growing, tech-forward dental organization. We are not looking for someone to fill a seat. We are looking for a skilled, motivated Dental Assistant who wants to work in a modern, high-tech environment where their abilities are actually put to use.

We invest in our people through structured systems, advanced technology, and a team culture where showing up prepared and coachable gets noticed and rewarded.

This Job Is For You If...

You have at least 2 years of dental assisting experience and you are looking for an office that will actually invest in your growth and push your skills to the next level. You want to work with real digital technology, be part of a high-performing clinical team, and have a clear path forward in your career.

Specifically, this role is a great fit if you:

  • Want to work in a modern office with a full digital tech stack, not just handed a handpiece and left to figure it out
  • Thrive with structure, checklists, and clear systems
  • Are coachable, dependable, and genuinely care about the patient experience
  • Want a growth path into expanded functions, advanced procedures, and clinical leadership
  • Are looking for a team that will recognize your skills and continue investing in them

What You Will Do -

Chairside and Clinical Support

  • Prepare and turn over operatories for all procedures
  • Take x-rays, photos, and scans using our digital systems
  • Assist the doctor chairside across all procedure types
  • Maintain sterile, organized, fully stocked rooms
  • Follow OSHA and infection control protocols consistently

Patient Experience

  • Guide patients through their visit from check-in imaging to doctor handoff
  • Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their appointment
  • Identify urgency and support same-day treatment opportunities

Treatment Flow and Documentation

  • Assist with charting and treatment note preparation
  • Understand how treatment is phased, sequenced, and scheduled
  • Support smooth handoffs between clinical and front office teams

Operational Support

  • Help manage supplies, equipment care, and lab case tracking
  • Be a team player who fills in gaps and keeps the day running smoothly

What You Will Work With

Our clinical team works with a full suite of modern technology. You will be expected to use and continue developing proficiency in:

  • Intraoral imaging and full-mouth photography
  • CBCT and digital scanning
  • Pearl AI
  • Our practice management and charting systems
  • Infection control and operatory protocols built around efficiency and consistency

Requirements

  • 2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred; candidates with strong foundational training and high coachability will be considered
  • Comfortable and confident taking x-rays
  • Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Willing to follow structured systems and receive ongoing coaching
  • Strong work ethic and team-first mindset
  • Comfortable using technology and learning new systems

Bonus points (not required):

  • EFDA certification or active interest in pursuing it
  • Experience with digital scanners or intraoral cameras
  • Background or interest in implants, orthodontics, or advanced procedures

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits
  • Weekly bonus opportunities
  • PTO and paid holidays
  • Structured onboarding and ongoing coaching
  • A clear growth path into expanded functions and advanced clinical skills
  • A team environment where being organized and skilled is actually recognized

The Bottom Line

Most dental offices underutilize their best assistants.

We build clinical teams that perform at a level above the industry standard, and we want skilled people who are ready to be part of that.

If you want a real career in dentistry, not just a job, this is where you grow!
