Job description: Project Executive – Charlotte Division Metcon is the #1 Indian-owned minority contractor in the United States, with over $2.5 billion in backlog and one of the largest construction projects on the East Coast currently underway. We are seeking a Project Executive to support the growth of our Charlotte Division, with a focus on entertainment, gaming, and hospitality markets. This role will be instrumental in expanding our presence in these sectors by driving business development, cultivating strategic client relationships, and ensuring successful delivery of complex, high-profile projects. This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Charlotte Division. Key Responsibilities Drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new opportunities within the entertainment, gaming, and hospitality sectors Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, owners, operators, architects, and key industry stakeholders Lead pursuit strategy, proposals, and client presentations in collaboration with preconstruction and estimating teams Track and manage opportunities from early concept through contract execution Partner with operations teams to ensure projects meet client expectations, financial targets, and safety standards Serve as a market leader and brand ambassador for Metcon within the Charlotte region Qualifications Proven experience as a Project Executive (or similar leadership role) in entertainment, gaming, hospitality, or large-scale commercial construction Strong track record of business development and client relationship management Experience delivering complex, high-visibility projects from pursuit through closeout Deep understanding of construction delivery methods and contract structures Metcon offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects while building a long-term career with a company committed to excellence, growth, and its people.
