Employee Health LPN

ELIGIBLE FOR CMH EMPLOYEE REFERRAL BONUS: PRIORITY RECRUITMENT

The Employee Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides clinical support within the Employee Health department, working under the direction of the Employee Health RN. The LPN assists with immunization programs, evaluation and follow-up of employee illnesses and work-related injuries, and initiatives that promote a safe workplace. This role also supports quality and performance improvement activities to ensure effective, compliant, and efficient employee health services & overall employee wellness.

Job Requirements
Knowledge of/Skill/Ability to:
Use of Excel database, ability to extract clinical information from electronic medical record related to Infection Prevention,
Ability to read and extract meaning from state and federal regulations
Ability to assist the EH RN with the development and implementation of performance improvement projects.
Ability to work independently with guidance, exercise creativity and prioritize scheduling of work
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

License/Certification
• Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Oregon
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association

Education and/or Experience

Education: Graduate from an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nursing. Minimum of 2 years clinical experience preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment Conditions / ADA Compliance
Position involves sitting, walking, standing, stooping, and occasional carrying/lifting of items (up to 20 lbs). May require significant walking between buildings/campuses. May be required to sit for extended periods of time. Requires visual acuity and depth perception and hand /finger dexterity in order to use a computer keyboard and general office equipment. Position may require travel between associated clinics and off-site departments
