Senior GL Accountant

YOUR TASKS
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger for all company accounts, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with IFRS
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including accruals, journal entries, and account analyses
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data flow and reporting
Support internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules and documentation
Drive continuous improvements in accounting processes, systems, and reporting efficiency
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
- Proficient English + Good knowledge of German or experience with the German market
Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience in GBS environmen
Strong knowledge of IFRS standards
Proficiency in SAP
Advanced MS Excel skills and analytical capabilities
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with high attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Experience in multinational or multi-entity accounting environments
Strong project management skills and ability to lead process improvement initiatives
