It's a captivating time to be part of our journey – here, you'll do more than just work; you'll be an integral part of a movement shaping the tech-driven future.Novarc Technologies is looking for a Welding Technician to join our growing team and support the production of our cobots.Summary: As a Welding Technician, you will help us further our welding robot design and support our clients. You will be designing and building parts, fitting pipes when necessary, welding using the SWR for internal R&D purposes, helping with the assembly and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), installing SWRs and training operators at customer sites, and working in hand with our Customer Support/Welding Operations team.Responsibilities:
- Assist and lead installation and field support of the SWR, ensuring optimal operation and customer satisfactionProvide expert technical guidance and training to customers on utilizing the SWRSupport continuous improvement in the Welding Operations TeamAnalyze R&D WeldsAssist with Novarc welding projects and developmentsComplete projects and SATs per development planDevelop new weld proceduresField Installation support of equipmentSupport customers with technical guidance and training on the SWRThis role is customer-facing and requires a clean and professional appearance as well as proper personal conduct in the face of customer challengesPerform other duties as assigned by the management team and the Director of Welding Operations.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a welder
Minimum 3 years of Pipe Welding/Fitting experience
Legally entitled to work in the United States
Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
Valid driver's license
Flexible availability to work shifts as needed
Dynamic, motivated, and eager to learn and contribute to company improvement.
- The core working hours are from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.This position requires at least 50% travel annually, and may include weekend travel to provide customer support or installation services, as our clients are located globally.
