Requirements:

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and executing the daily operations of the Human Resources department while serving as a strategic partner to leadership. This role oversees core HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, compensation and benefits administration, performance management, and workforce development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead recruiting, hiring, and onboarding to meet workforce needs
  • Partner with leaders on staffing, retention, and employee development
  • Serve as primary contact for employee relations; conduct investigations and support disciplinary actions
  • Administer compensation, benefits, and leave programs (FMLA, FAMLI, ADA)
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws including Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and U.S. Department of Labor
  • Maintain HR policies, employee records, and audit readiness
  • Oversee performance management, training, and leadership development
  • Track HR metrics (turnover, hiring, retention) and provide insights to leadership
  • Support employee engagement, culture, and recognition programs
  • Ensure workplace safety compliance and respond to employee inquiries

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and compliance
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, etc.)
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations and handling disciplinary actions
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
