Your Role

As an Interior Maintenance Technician/Handyman, you will perform a combination of preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on luxury coach interiors. You'll work closely with experienced technicians, developing your skills while helping ensure every coach meets our high standards for quality, functionality, and appearance.

This is a hands-on position where your craftsmanship and attention to detail make a direct impact on the experience we provide our clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on coach interior components, including cabinetry, flooring, furnishings, and fixtures, ensuring functionality and a high-quality appearance.

• Work alongside senior technicians, gaining hands-on experience and receiving training to further develop your technical skills.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot interior electrical, plumbing, and other systems using appropriate tools and basic diagnostic techniques.

• Assist with the renovation and refurbishment of existing luxury coach interiors, with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship and finishes.

• Identify potential maintenance concerns and address issues before they impact coach readiness.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Build positive working relationships with team members and contribute to an efficient, collaborative shop environment.

• Take pride in completing work accurately, efficiently, and to NiteTrain's quality standards.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year o experience in residential or commercial construction, maintenance, or repair.

• Experience in the following trades:

Carpentry

Electrical

Plumbing

• Must provide your own tools on the first day of employment

• Ability to use common hand and power tools safely and effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working on luxury coach interiors, motorhomes, RVs, or similar vehicles.

• Experience with cabinetry, finish carpentry, interior remodeling, or custom installations.

• Familiarity with troubleshooting electrical or plumbing systems in recreational or commercial vehicles.
