This is a high-visibility, high-impact sales development role focused on generating and qualifying new business opportunities in a fast-growing, mission-driven professional services environment. You will be responsible for building and nurturing a strong sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound lead qualification, and strategic outreach across multiple channels. The role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and customer engagement, requiring strong communication skills and a consultative mindset. You will work closely with account executives and sales leadership to drive territory strategy and support revenue growth objectives. This position offers direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to build a long-term career in enterprise B2B sales. - Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, event engagement, and targeted outreach campaigns.
- Research prospective accounts to understand organizational structure, business needs, and alignment with solution offerings.
- Engage prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to build relationships and secure qualified meetings for the sales team.
- Partner closely with Account Executives and sales leadership to align on territory strategies and ensure strong pipeline coverage.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all prospecting, outreach, and qualification activities in CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to support campaigns, ensure messaging alignment, and maximize lead conversion.
- Consistently meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and opportunity-generation targets that directly support revenue growth.
- Represent the organization with professionalism, curiosity, and a customer-first mindset in all interactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, inside sales, or client-facing roles.
- Strong ability to build rapport quickly and engage prospects in meaningful, consultative conversations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms is highly preferred.
- Strong resilience, curiosity, and a growth mindset with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC is a plus.
- Competitive total on-target earnings (OTE) with base salary and uncapped commission structure.
