This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Discovery Lab Filtration Leader based in India.
This is a senior commercial leadership role focused on driving growth and market expansion for leading lab filtration product portfolios across India and South Asia. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing regional commercial strategy, with responsibility for strengthening market share across key life sciences segments including pharmaceuticals, biopharma, CROs, CDMOs, and academic research. The role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and deep customer engagement, requiring strong market insight and the ability to translate technical expertise into commercial success. You will lead and develop high-performing sales teams while fostering a culture of technical excellence and customer-centric execution. Acting as a key connector between market needs and product capabilities, you will influence demand generation, account growth, and long-term customer partnerships. This position sits in a fast-paced, matrixed, and highly collaborative global environment where scientific innovation and commercial impact go hand in hand.
- Define and execute the regional commercial strategy for lab filtration products, aligned with global and regional business priorities.
- Lead, develop, and motivate a team of Account Managers and Sales Specialists to drive growth across Whatman and Pall portfolios.
- Drive market share expansion across key segments including pharma, biopharma, CROs/CDMOs, and academic institutions.
- Oversee financial planning, demand forecasting, and performance tracking for assigned product portfolios.
- Build and execute customer acquisition and key account growth strategies across India and South Asia.
- Strengthen customer relationships and engage with key stakeholders in biotech, translational research, and academia.
- Provide technical leadership and capability development for commercial teams through training and continuous knowledge sharing.
- Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or related scientific field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in life sciences commercial roles, with proven success in sales leadership or team management.
- Strong understanding of laboratory filtration, QC environments, OEM, and applied life sciences segments.
- Demonstrated ability to build and execute commercial strategies in a matrix organization.
- Strong leadership and people development skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze markets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively across global and regional teams in a dynamic environment.
