This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an ATG Developer based in India.
This role focuses on building and maintaining robust e-commerce solutions using Oracle ATG Web Commerce, contributing directly to seamless digital shopping experiences. You will work on designing, customizing, and optimizing enterprise-grade commerce applications that support scalable online platforms. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including QA, business stakeholders, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features and enhancements. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, improving system performance, and ensuring stable deployments in a fast-paced development environment. The role offers strong exposure to enterprise commerce architecture and integration-driven development. It is ideal for a developer who enjoys solving technical challenges while working on customer-facing digital platforms with real business impact.
- Design, develop, and maintain e-commerce applications using Oracle ATG Web Commerce.
- Implement and customize ATG modules including Commerce, BCC, CSC, Personalization, and Scenario Server components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues while ensuring optimal system performance.
- Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and maintain technical documentation.
- Work closely with QA and business teams to support deployment, validation, and release cycles.
- Contribute to system enhancements, integration work, and continuous improvement of commerce platforms.
- 4+ years of software development experience with at least 2+ years in Oracle ATG Web Commerce.
- Strong proficiency in Java, JSP, Servlets, and MVC architecture.
- Hands-on experience with ATG modules such as Commerce, Personalization, and Scenario Server.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and system integration development.
- Basic understanding of relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL.
- Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Ant and version control systems such as Git or SVN.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and optimize complex systems.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in team-oriented environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
