This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Account Executive (Public Relations) based in the United States.

In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients across financial services, fintech, insurance, and real estate-related industries, developing strategic public relations initiatives that generate meaningful visibility and engagement. Accountabilities
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring consistent communication, alignment on objectives, and successful execution of public relations strategies.
  • Lead client calls, manage ongoing correspondence, and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute media relations campaigns that increase brand awareness, thought leadership, and industry visibility.
  • Draft high-quality press releases, media pitches, executive biographies, messaging materials, and other communications assets with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Research journalists, media outlets, podcasts, and industry publications to build targeted media lists and identify relevant coverage opportunities.
  • Create compelling story angles, proactive media outreach strategies, and timely newsjacking opportunities that align with client goals.
  • Support account teams with campaign measurement, reporting, media monitoring, and content development initiatives.
  • Coordinate internal workflows and external deadlines, ensuring projects remain on track and stakeholders remain informed throughout the process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members of the media across business-to-business and business-to-consumer sectors.
  • Contribute to strategic planning efforts and support the delivery of innovative communications programs that drive client success.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in public relations, communications, fintech, financial services, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing media relations initiatives and working directly with clients in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling stories, media materials, and executive communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with journalists, media contacts, and industry influencers.
  • Intellectual curiosity about business, technology, financial services, and the role of strategic communications in organizational growth.
  • Passion for storytelling and a strong understanding of how to develop newsworthy narratives across multiple channels.
  • Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment.
