The Store Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the overall success of the retail location by At St. Vincent de Paul, the number one responsibility of every Manager is to develop their people — both staff and volunteers. Minimum Qualifications
- At Least 2 + years of proven experience in retail management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- High School or GED required
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, reach and lift 50+ pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience in specialty retail or a specific product category.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and retail analytics.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve individual and store sales goals.
- Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation and drive sales.
- Provide ongoing training and support to staff in customer service best practices and product knowledge.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to ensure product availability.
- Analyze sales reports and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans.
