Quality Technician (Food Manufacturing) - 1st Shift in Rockford, Ohio at The Fremont Company

The Fremont Company is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our Rockford, OH plant on 1st shift!

For over 121 years, The Fremont Company has been the Ketchup Experts, feeding families across North America. As a Quality Technician, you'll play a key role in making sure every product that leaves our plant meets the standards our customers count on.

SHIFT: 1st Shift

LOCATION: The Fremont Company - Rockford Plant, 150 Hickory St, Rockford, OH 45882

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Perform routine quality checks and inspections on raw materials, in-process, and finished goods
• Collect and record product samples, testing for weight, fill, seal integrity, and other quality specs
• Document quality results accurately and flag any deviations to supervisors
• Support HACCP, GMP, and food safety compliance on the production floor
• Assist with calibration of quality testing equipment
• Communicate with production team members to resolve quality issues quickly

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior quality, lab, or food manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the plant for the duration of the shift
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment
