Mid-Market Carrier Channel Account Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mid-Market Carrier Channel Account Specialist based in United States.

This role focuses on strengthening relationships with carrier partners and driving adoption of innovative technology solutions across mid-market segments.
You will act as a trusted channel partner, educating stakeholders, identifying opportunities, and helping accelerate revenue growth.
The position combines consultative sales, technical enablement, relationship management, and market development.
You will collaborate with sales teams and carrier organizations to create demand, support business growth, and improve customer engagement.

Accountabilities:

The Mid-Market Carrier Channel Account Specialist will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with carrier partners, increasing product awareness, and creating sales opportunities through effective engagement and enablement.

  • Develop a strong understanding of product value propositions and communicate solutions effectively to carrier account teams, leaders, and customers.
  • Build and maintain influential relationships with key carrier stakeholders, including sales managers, directors, and account managers.
  • Drive awareness and demand by engaging partners through email, phone, meetings, training sessions, and business reviews.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities while supporting pipeline growth and revenue generation.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned carrier accounts, ensuring consistent communication and partnership development.
  • Provide frontline sales support, including answering product questions, supporting customer conversations, and overcoming objections.
  • Educate carrier teams through training sessions, product demonstrations, promotional events, and enablement programs.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, track activities, forecast opportunities, and provide market intelligence updates.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to support opportunity progression, pricing discussions, joint business planning, and deal execution.
  • Organize and execute carrier-focused events, including branded activations, lunch-and-learns, and promotional initiatives.
  • Gather business insights, sales forecasts, and recommendations to improve market performance.
  • Manage assigned territory independently while maintaining strong alignment with internal leadership.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines technical sales expertise, strong communication abilities, and experience building relationships within technology or channel environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience selling, supporting, or educating customers on technical products or solutions.
  • Experience working with mid-market, enterprise, or SMB customer segments.
  • Background in IT sales, channel sales, technology partnerships, or related environments.
  • Strong presentation and training skills with the ability to engage technical and business audiences.
  • Proven sales abilities, including opportunity development, pipeline management, and achieving performance goals.
  • Knowledge of business networking technologies and emerging technology trends.
  • Strong understanding of consultative selling techniques and customer engagement strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Comfortable using CRM platforms and productivity tools, including Google Workspace applications.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% within the assigned territory.
