Associate Professional Development Designer

The Associate Professional Development Designer will support the creation of high-quality professional learning resources that help educators maximize the impact of technology in the classroom.
This role combines instructional expertise, content development, editing, and project coordination to create engaging materials for teachers and administrators worldwide.
You will collaborate with professional development teams to refine existing resources, develop new training content, and ensure materials meet high standards of quality and consistency.

Accountabilities:

The Associate Professional Development Designer will play a key role in supporting the development, organization, and continuous improvement of professional learning resources. This position requires strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to deliver impactful educational materials.

  • Update, edit, and maintain professional development outlines, training resources, presentation decks, and supporting materials.
  • Create and format professional development presentations using Google Slides while maintaining design consistency and established standards.
  • Review content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, formatting, and overall quality.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to improve existing professional development resources and ensure alignment with educator needs.
  • Support the creation of new professional learning materials, resources, and training content as needed.
  • Organize and maintain professional development resources to ensure content remains current, accessible, and easy to use.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to support the creation of professional development-related communication and promotional materials.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality deliverables.
  • Partner with internal specialists and educators to understand needs and continuously improve learning resources.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in education, professional development, and content creation, with excellent communication and organizational abilities. You should be detail-oriented, adaptable, and motivated by the opportunity to improve learning experiences through technology.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of K–12 teaching experience.
  • Experience delivering professional development or training programs for educators.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools, processes, and educational technologies.
  • Passion for improving education through innovative technology solutions.
  • Proficiency with Google Docs and Google Slides.
  • Ability to create clear, engaging, and visually consistent instructional materials.
