Position Overview:
Legacy Golf Course in Mason City, IA is looking to hire a Server. Applicants must be friendly, hardworking, team-oriented, honest, and comfortable with food and beverage service. Candidates must be dependable, available to work scheduled shifts consistently, maintain a positive attitude, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide courteous, professional service to both internal and external guests, ensuring their needs are met and that they feel welcomed and valued.
• Take full responsibility for people, product, and profit, ensuring the highest standards of service and quality are maintained at all times.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of work areas, performing opening and closing procedures in accordance with restaurant standards.
• Adhere to procedures for bar tabs, table transfers, and accurate cash and credit handling to ensure financial integrity.
• Upsell food and beverage items, demonstrating extensive knowledge of menu offerings, including alcoholic beverages. Respond to guest inquiries with confidence and accuracy.
• Check identification for age verification and monitor guest needs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
• Develop personalized relationships with guests, proactively resolving complaints with hospitality and professionalism.
• Ensure the accuracy of orders and deliver them promptly, collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to provide exceptional service.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
• Exhibit flexibility for varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Work closely with other members of the restaurant team to ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for guests.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements & Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to work in hot, humid, and fast-paced conditions.
• Strong ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions promptly.
• A genuine passion for hospitality, food, and beverage service, with a focus on creating an exceptional guest experience.
• Previous serving, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
