Team Leader Social Worker in Syracuse, New York at Crouse Hospital

Crouse’s Care Coordination team is hiring a Social Work Team Leader.

Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $83,000.00 / annual

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Required to work 6 weekends per year.

Social Work Team Leader Responsibilities:

• Acts as a lead point-of-contact and knowledge expert to all employees within department or assigned area.
• Effectively coordinates staff scheduling, workflow, and delegation of daily tasks to ensure work is completed on a timely and accurate basis.
• Actively participates in the interview process for employees entering the department and provides detailed feedback to department leadership.
• Notifies department leadership when there are issues with daily workflow and performance.
• Identifies and resolves issues affecting the successful completion of delegated tasks and duties.
• Provides on-going training to existing team members as required.
• Acts as a resource during the on-boarding and training of new employees.
• Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.
• Assume other duties as assigned by department leadership.

Social Work Team Leader Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work required.
• LMSW License preferred.
• Three (3) to Five (5) acute hospital experience required.
• Case Management, Behavioral Health, or Crisis Management experience preferred.
