Job Description
ABOUT US:
As a manufacturing startup dedicated to transforming the pontoon boat industry, Flamingo prioritizes innovation, performance, and quality to deliver exceptional on-water experiences. We’re currently seeking an experienced Service Specialist to help us build and scale a high-performing manufacturing operation from the ground up.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role is responsible for best in industry service to our dealer network and product owners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical Support: Provide clear, accurate troubleshooting assistance and technical guidance to dealers and product owners via phone, email, and digital portals.
- Warranty Administration: Review, process, and authorize warranty claims efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate customer complaints regarding product performance or service issues, coordinating with production and engineering teams to find swift solutions.
- Training & Documentation: Help develop service bulletins, technical manuals, and FAQs to empower the dealer network and improve overall product satisfaction.
- Inventory and order fulfillment: Manage service parts inventory, accurately process incoming parts orders from dealers, and coordinate fulfillment to ensure timely shipping and delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in technical customer service, marine service technology, or automotive service coordination.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong familiarity with marine products, boat systems, or
mechanical/electrical components is highly preferred.
- Skills: Great communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users. Ability to communicate clearly across all channels, Phone, text, chat and email.
- Systems: Proficiency with CRM systems (PLEX), ticketing software, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in desktop publishing is a plus
- Travel requirements: Up to 20% travel domestically.
