Job Description

Description:

Step Up to the Plate as Our Warehouse Supervisor!

Location: Woodridge, IL
Department: Supply Chain
Pay: $80,000–$92,000 per year

At Home Run Inn, we believe pizza should do more than fill you up—it should lift you up.

For nearly 100 years, we've been bringing people together over authentic Chicago tavern-style pizza. Behind every great pizza is an incredible team, and behind every great operation is a team that takes pride in getting the details right.

That's where you come in.

If you're a hands-on leader who knows how to keep people, products, and processes moving, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and believes great operations are built through teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As our Warehouse Supervisor, you'll lead the day-to-day warehouse operation at our Woodridge manufacturing facility. You'll help make sure the right materials are in the right place at the right time—supporting our production teams, customer orders, and ultimately, getting more Home Run Inn pizza into the hands of our guests.

You'll lead a team across Shipping, Receiving, Components, Raw Materials, Packaging, and Finished Goods while balancing safety, quality, inventory accuracy, productivity, and customer service.

You'll also be a key partner to Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Finance, and other teams across the business.

No two days look exactly the same, and that's part of the fun.

  • Support internal, customer, third-party, food safety, quality, and regulatory inspections
  • Coordinate warehouse equipment readiness, including forklift inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, batteries and charging, dock equipment, overhead doors, and vendor follow-up
Keeping products and orders moving
  • Oversee finished goods inventory, scanning, staging, picking, and shipment preparation
  • Make sure customer orders are completed accurately and on time
  • Support EDI/ASN requirements, customer-specific shipping expectations, fill rate, and service goals
  • Coordinate shuttle schedules, carrier pickups, deliveries, and cost-effective freight solutions
  • Oversee receiving, verification, counting, transfers, and system receipts for raw materials, packaging, components, and other inventory
  • Coordinate material availability and production support based on schedules, pick lists, lot requirements, and changing priorities
Getting inventory right
  • Own warehouse inventory accuracy and cycle count execution
  • Maintain accurate lot, location, and product status information

  • Help develop and maintain SOPs, standard work, process training, and system adoption
  • Champion continuous improvement through Gemba walks, process standardization, productivity improvements, and better use of warehouse space
  • Look for ways to improve safety, quality, inventory accuracy, efficiency, and the overall warehouse experience
  • Monitor key warehouse metrics, including inventory accuracy, receiving and shipping accuracy, on-time shipments, customer fill rate, product damage, safety, training compliance, and inventory adjustments
