Structural Welder

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Structural Welder to join our dynamic construction and manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques and materials.

- Perform welding operations on structural steel components, including beams, columns, and frameworks, using various welding methods such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.

- Ensure all welds meet quality standards and adhere to safety regulations and industry codes.

- Inspect completed welds for defects and perform necessary repairs or rework.

- Maintain and operate welding equipment and tools properly, ensuring safety and efficiency.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.

- Document work progress and maintain accurate records of welding activities.

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Structural Welder in construction, fabrication, or manufacturing environments.

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technica l drawings, and welding symbols.

- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, safety procedures, and industry standards.

- Ability to operate welding equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.

- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.

- Physical stamina and ability to work in various environmental conditions, including heights and confined spaces.

- Certification in welding (such as AWS or equivalent) is preferred.

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship is a plus.
