Happy to Help Caregiving provides compassionate, non-medical in-home care that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they know best: home. We support families through companionship, personal care, respite care, and veteran-focused services, always with an emphasis on dignity, respect, and dependable support. Our goal is to provide care that feels personal, professional, and responsive to each client’s unique needs, preferences, and daily routines.
At Happy to Help, we believe great care is built on trust, consistency, and meaningful human connection. Our caregivers play an essential role in helping clients maintain quality of life at home while offering families peace of mind and reliable support. We are proud to build local care teams that show up with kindness, professionalism, and heart, and we value caregivers who are committed to making a real difference in the lives of others every day.
Now Hiring Caregivers in Soda Springs, Idaho
Happy to Help Caregiving is seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join our caregiving team serving Soda Springs and surrounding communities. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, helping others, and knowing their work makes a real difference.
As a caregiver, you'll provide essential non-medical support to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and veterans in their own homes. You'll help clients stay safe, maintain their independence, and continue their normal routines while providing dependable one-on-one assistance.
We're looking for people who show up, take responsibility for their work, communicate well, and aren't afraid to jump in and help where needed. If you're reliable, hardworking, patient, and looking for meaningful work in the Soda Springs community, we'd like to hear from you.
About the Role
As a caregiver in Soda Springs, Idaho, you'll work one-on-one with clients in their homes. Depending on the client, your shift may involve mobility assistance, household tasks, meal preparation, transportation, personal care, companionship, or helping a client safely complete their daily routine.
This isn't a desk job. Caregivers may spend their shifts moving around the home, assisting clients with mobility, completing household tasks, running approved errands, and providing direct hands-on support.
What You'll Do
Depending on the client's needs and individualized care plan, your daily duties may include:
- Assisting with mobility, repositioning, and safe transfers, including the use of walkers, wheelchairs, and other mobility aids
- Helping clients safely move throughout their homes and complete daily activities
- Providing companionship and meaningful one-on-one interaction
- Assisting with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene support
- Preparing meals and snacks according to client preferences, dietary needs, or care plan instructions
- Completing light housekeeping including laundry, dishes, taking out trash, tidying common areas, and maintaining a safe living environment
- Providing transportation assistance for medical appointments, errands, grocery shopping, and other approved outings
- Providing medication reminders in accordance with the care plan (no handling or administering medications)
- Providing respite care support for family caregivers
- Following care plans and completing appropriate shift documentation
- Communicating changes in a client's condition or needs to the office promptly
- Supporting each client's independence, routines, preferences, and overall well-being
You'll be trusted to arrive on time, follow instructions, use good judgment, maintain professional boundaries, and treat every client and home with respect.
Qualifications
We're looking for dependable people who take pride in doing their job well and can be counted on by their clients and team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Dependable, responsible, and trustworthy
- Comfortable with an active, hands-on work environment
- Comfortable assisting with personal care and physical mobility support
- Able to follow written care plans and verbal instructions accurately
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently while communicating effectively with the office
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
- Prior caregiving experience is a plus, but not required — character, work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn matter most
