The Roles -Bilingual Lead Teacher

You're the heartbeat of the classroom. You'll design engaging days using our P.L.A.N. curriculum β€” woven with English-Spanish programming β€” build real relationships with your students, and set the tone for a safe, joyful, well-run room where kids grow up bilingual from day one.

What you'll do:

  • Plan and lead daily activities using our P.L.A.N. curriculum, incorporating English-Spanish instruction
  • Build strong, trusting bonds with students and their families
  • Own classroom management β€” creating a consistent, positive environment for kids and staff alike
  • Support each child's physical, social-emotional, and developmental growth
  • Communicate clearly and warmly with families, colleagues, and your community β€” in English and Spanish

You'll bring:

  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • 3–5 years of relevant classroom experience
  • A bachelor's degree is required (preferably in the field of education). You may also need an MSDE 90hr Preschool Certificate or CDA Certification with Preschool Endorsement (minimum)
  • Solid grasp of child development principles and instructional strategies
  • Working knowledge of MSDE regulations
  • A warm, friendly, unflappable demeanor is a must
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliability you could set a clock to
Bilingual Assistant Teacher

You're the extra set of hands, eyes, and hugs every classroom needs β€” and your bilingual skills help our youngest learners feel at home in both languages. This is a great fit if you're floating between classrooms, supporting a lead teacher, or building experience toward leading your own room.

What you'll do:

  • Support the Lead Teacher in bringing our P.L.A.N. curriculum to life, in English and Spanish
  • Help build a safe, nurturing space where kids feel secure and loved
  • Jump in wherever needed β€” floating between classrooms as our thriving school needs
  • Support each child's day-to-day needs with patience and care
  • Bring positive energy to your team, your students, and their families

You'll bring:

  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Preschool experience of 1–3 years
  • MSDE 90hr Preschool Certificate or CDA Certification with Preschool Endorsement (minimum)
  • A team-first attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
  • Good communication skills and a calm, friendly presence
  • Reliability and punctuality you take seriously

Pay
  • Lead Teacher: $22.00–$25.00/hour
  • Assistant Teacher/Aide: $18.00–$23.00/hour
Good to Know

Per Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care regulations, all applicants must pass a state and federal background check as a condition of employment. Applicants for our federal center campuses must also receive GSA security clearance through a government background screening.
