This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Procurement / Vendor Management Evaluator based in the United States.
This remote, hourly opportunity is designed for experienced procurement and vendor management professionals.
You’ll apply your practical expertise to evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and other business work products.
The role focuses on assessing whether AI outputs demonstrate accuracy, rigor, sound commercial judgment, and strong procurement practices.
Your experience will help identify gaps, inconsistencies, and errors that could affect the quality of procurement-related decisions.
You’ll provide structured feedback that contributes directly to improving how AI handles real-world sourcing and vendor management tasks.
The engagement offers flexibility, with work completed remotely and generally on your own schedule.
You’ll collaborate asynchronously with a research team while helping shape the development of more capable AI systems.
- Evaluate AI-generated work products against procurement and vendor management quality standards and established evaluation rubrics.
- Assess outputs for factual accuracy, commercial rigor, logical consistency, and alignment with practical procurement principles.
- Identify errors, omissions, inconsistencies, and weaknesses in AI-generated procurement-related materials.
- Apply professional judgment to determine whether recommendations, analyses, and proposed approaches are realistic and appropriate.
- Review documents, spreadsheets, slide decks, and other business artifacts for both substantive quality and effective presentation.
- Provide clear, structured written feedback explaining identified issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Help ensure AI-generated outputs reflect sound approaches to procurement, sourcing, supplier relationships, and vendor management.
- Collaborate asynchronously with the research team to support consistent and high-quality evaluations.
- Complete assigned projects accurately and within established timelines without relying on confidential or proprietary employer information.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, vendor management, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong practical understanding of procurement processes, vendor relationships, sourcing practices, commercial evaluation, and supplier performance considerations.
- Ability to critically assess business outputs and determine whether recommendations demonstrate sound professional judgment.
- Native or professional fluency in English, with strong written communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, particularly Google Slides and/or PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to identify factual, analytical, formatting, aesthetic, and presentation-related errors.
- Strong ability to communicate feedback clearly, objectively, and constructively.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Preferred: Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) from a reputable institution or equivalent advanced professional expertise.
- Compensation: $80–$120 per hour.
