Area Sales Manager in at Jokey North America Inc

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join the Jokey North America team!

The Jokey Group consists of 14 production sites in 11 countries, employing over 2,500 employees and supplying customers in over 80 countries. We manufacture high quality injection moulded plastic buckets and lids for food and non-food items. Using monoplastics, we aim to decrease our environmental impact, and strengthen our contributions towards the development of a sustainable and circular economy.

Our office hours are 8am-4pm on Monday - Friday.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prospect new business by networking, cold calling, advertising and other means of generating interest from potential customers;

• Identity potential customers and the decision makers within the organization;

• Prepare quotations with both commercial and technical contents;

• Report sales/field activity reports to Director of Sales America;

• Develop rapport with new customers and set sales targets;

• Maintain Record and Update systems with the system CRM;

• Keep up to date knowledge of the industry competitive position in the market;

• Manage existing client relationships within territory;

• Make presentations and make recommendations of JNA solutions and services that meet or predict clients’ future needs;

• Prepare territory sales forecast on quarterly/yearly basis or as required;

• Travel to potential and existing territory customers including at least three in-field visits per week or an agreed upon quantity of visits;

• Attend tradeshows and meetings as appropriate;

• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience of outside sales dealing with packaging products

• Strong background in selling plastics packaging solutions to customers

• Establish contracts in the target markets and proven sales track record

• Ability to travel throughout territory and to Goderich facility

• Strong computer skills including MS Office

• Proven communication skills (both verbal and written)

• Strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills

• Good customer relations skills
