Kaizen Collision Center is growing in the Omaha market, and we're looking for experienced Auto Body Technicians who take pride in doing repairs the right way. We serve customers throughout Omaha, Council Bluffs, Bellevue, Papillion, La Vista, Elkhorn, Gretna, and the surrounding metro area.

Position OverviewThe Auto Body Technician plays a critical role in restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while maintaining OEM repair standards, vehicle safety, and customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for repairing structural and non-structural damage, replacing damaged components, performing metal work, and working closely with estimators, parts personnel, and production staff to keep vehicles moving through the repair process efficiently.
Our technicians work on all makes and models and are supported by a team committed to quality repairs and consistent workflow.
What You'll Do- Inspect damaged vehicles and determine proper repair procedures
- Repair or replace damaged body panels, structural components, and related parts
- Perform frame and unibody repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Weld, straighten, reshape, and fit replacement panels
- Work closely with estimators to identify additional damage and supplements
- Verify parts fitment and repair accuracy throughout the repair process
- Maintain repair quality while meeting production goals
- Follow OEM repair procedures and safety standards
- Complete repairs efficiently while minimizing rework and comebacks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous auto body repair experience required
- Strong knowledge of collision repair techniques and equipment
- Ability to read repair orders, OEM procedures, and repair documentation
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely operate customer and company vehicles
- I-CAR certification
- ASE certification
- Frame and structural repair experience
- Aluminum repair experience
- Experience with multiple vehicle manufacturers
- Welding certification or advanced metal fabrication experience
- Familiarity with electronic repair documentation and estimating systems
- Strong metal finishing and panel replacement skills
- Structural and frame repair knowledge
- Ability to diagnose collision damage accurately
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving abilities
