This is a high-impact product role at the center of mobile game development and live operations, where you will shape engaging, competitive gaming experiences used by millions of players. You will own the product backlog and drive day-to-day execution across game features, systems, and monetization layers. The role blends product thinking, game design intuition, and data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will work closely with game designers, engineers, and content teams to deliver smooth and compelling player experiences. A strong focus will be placed on gameplay quality, retention, and LiveOps performance. This is an opportunity to directly influence how players interact with and enjoy mobile gaming at scale.
You will be responsible for owning and prioritizing the product backlog for mobile game titles and supporting systems, ensuring alignment with the overall product roadmap and business objectives. The role involves shaping gameplay experiences, optimizing engagement mechanics, and driving continuous improvement through data insights. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery from concept to live operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and prioritizing the product backlog for game titles and related systems aligned with the product roadmap
- Defining and refining gameplay experience elements such as pacing, difficulty, session flow, and engagement loops
- Monitoring and optimizing key product metrics including retention, ARPDAU, LTV, conversion, and engagement patterns
- Driving LiveOps strategies including in-game events, missions, offers, progression systems, and virtual economies
- Collaborating with game designers, engineers, and content teams to ensure efficient execution and delivery
- Translating product requirements into clear user stories and actionable development tasks
- Maintaining a well-structured, prioritized, and healthy backlog for ongoing development cycles
- Partnering with analytics teams to derive insights and inform product decisions
- Supporting continuous iteration based on player behavior and performance data
- Ensuring alignment between business goals, player experience, and technical execution
This role requires strong product ownership experience in mobile gaming, combined with a deep understanding of game mechanics, player behavior, and monetization systems. You should be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-moving, iterative environments. Key requirements include:
- Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in mobile gaming, with at least one shipped game title
- Strong understanding of casual game mechanics and what drives player engagement
- Deep knowledge of mobile gaming KPIs such as retention, LTV, ARPDAU, and session metrics
- Hands-on experience with LiveOps, including events, progression systems, economies, and monetization loops
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Ability to translate complex product needs into clear technical and design requirements
- Experience working in cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and content
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good understanding of player psychology and engagement design principles
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and iterative development environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in product, engineering, or related fields (preferred)
