Description:

Briarwood Community Living Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Rehab Director – Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to lead our therapy department while providing high-quality rehabilitative services to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department.
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to residents.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate resident progress.
  • Ensure accurate and timely EMR documentation.
  • Educate residents and families regarding treatment plans and therapeutic equipment.
  • Coordinate therapy services with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Maintain compliance with all facility, state, and federal regulations.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and resident-centered care.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements: Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
  • Current PTA license in the state of employment.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or rehabilitation experience preferred.
