Job Description

We’re excited to introduce MEETING HOUSE, a new concept from Ciccio Restaurant Group – Local Brands, with an anticipated opening at the end of August 2026.

Selected candidates for this role will be required to participate in training beginning in August.

Full training schedules, including specific dates and times, will be reviewed and confirmed during the interview process.

Food is everything to us. We receive fresh produce and product daily, and our PREP TEAM plays a critical role in crafting the high-quality recipes and menu items our guests love. You are directly responsible for food safety, food production, and sanitation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will focus on proper food handling, preparation, and organization while ensuring the kitchen is set up for success with the products needed to support service. Every item must be prepared according to company recipes, specifications, and quality standards.

THE BASICS

  • Serve as an ambassador of our mission, culture, and core values
  • Prepare high volumes of vegetables, proteins, sauces, dressings, marinades, and other recipes according to company standards
  • Assist with baking and preparing menu items as assigned
  • Receive, put away, label, date, rotate, and properly store food and produce deliveries
  • Maintain pars and inventory levels for assigned prep items to support daily operations
  • Safely operate kitchen equipment including knives, ovens, grills, food processors, blenders, and other kitchen tools
  • Follow recipes and food specifications to ensure consistency, quality, and portion accuracy
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations, storage areas, and equipment throughout the shift
  • Properly complete opening, closing, and cleaning responsibilities to set the team up for success
  • Uphold all health, safety, sanitation, and food handling standards
  • Work collaboratively with team members to support kitchen operations and guest satisfaction
  • Perform additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by leadership

PRE-REQs

· 18 years of age or older

· Legally permitted to work in the United States (we participate in E-Verify)

· Previous culinary experience with a strong passion for food and people (and good knife skills!)

· Team player with a positive attitude and works with a sense of urgency

· Ability to read and follow written recipes

· Reliable transportation to and from work

· Can work in both hot and cool environments

· Self-accountable in upholding high standards

· Able to work in a fast-paced setting for up to 8 hours daily, or as needed

· Willingness to learn and develop
