- Partner with capture managers, proposal teams, and executives to define win themes, differentiators, and solution narratives aligned with customer objectives.
- Develop end-to-end technical proposal artifacts, including architecture diagrams, compliance matrices, technical volumes, and oral presentation materials.
- Architect scalable, secure, and cost-optimized AWS-based solutions leveraging modern cloud-native and serverless patterns.
- Guide cross-functional teams in shaping solution approaches across engineering, security, compliance, and delivery considerations.
- Validate technical feasibility, cost structures, and deployment models in alignment with government standards and acquisition requirements.
- Integrate compliance frameworks such as NIST, FedRAMP, and DoD Cloud Security standards into solution designs.
- Support proposal orals and customer engagements as a persuasive technical expert, clearly articulating complex architectures to diverse audiences.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML, generative AI, containerization, edge computing) and incorporate them into solution strategies.
- 15+ years of overall experience, including 8+ years designing and architecting cloud solutions in enterprise or government environments.
- Strong expertise in AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions, EventBridge, Bedrock, SageMaker, and Amazon Q.
- Proven experience supporting or leading federal, state, or public-sector proposals, including technical writing and solution shaping.
- Deep understanding of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation), and policy-as-code approaches.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security and architecture frameworks including Zero Trust and AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, FedRAMP, and DoD Cloud SRG.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive messaging for both technical and executive audiences.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work in fast-paced, proposal-driven environments.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate required; Professional certification strongly preferred.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer and proposal support activities.
- Competitive compensation package aligned with experience, including base salary, bonuses, and performance incentives.
- Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision plans.
- 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions.
- Paid time off, holidays, sick leave, and family-related leave programs.
- Flexible remote work environment with periodic travel for collaboration and customer engagement.
- Equity in professional growth through exposure to large-scale federal cloud transformation programs.
- Life, disability, and additional insurance coverage options for financial protection.
- Wellness, learning, and development resources to support long-term career growth.
- Inclusive, mission-driven environment focused on innovation, security, and national impact.
